Air rescue specialists to feature at European Rotors

"At Stand 726, the focus will be on our range of services for corporate customers. Thanks to DRF Luftrettung's various EASA approvals, we can offer Part-145, CAMO and Part-21 services for a wide range of helicopter types, among other things. European Rotors offers us the opportunity to exchange ideas with customers from all over the world," explains Florian Masserer, Senior Sales Executive New Sales. For example, the cockpit voice flight data recorder of the H135 will be presented, for the installation of which DRF Luftrettung was the first European provider to receive the STC (Supplement Type Certificate) from EASA in July. Two other innovative solutions can be inspected on site: the Pulsing Lights, LED lights installed on the helicopter that ensure greater visibility in airspace, and a multifunctional EMS ground plate that can be used for special transports.

Another highlight will be awaiting visitors at DRF Academy's stand 1338: the hoistAR® hoist simulator developed with Reiser Simulation and Training will be presented to international trade show visitors for the first time. Mobile, adaptable to the individual needs of the crews and connectable to the full flight simulator of LAT Lufthansa Aviation Training in Frankfurt: Using live demonstrations, experts from DRF Luftrettung will show how pilots and winch operators can train hoist operations in virtual space in a very realistic way, thus comprehensively expanding the training options. The DRF Academy will also be presenting its extensive training portfolio in the core areas of medicine, maintenance and flight operations, for example its programme on the Airbus H145/H135 full flight simulator (FFS) in cooperation with LAT Lufthansa Aviation Training.
