EASA STC Approval for HEC for Bell 429 by A&H

We're pleased to share that AirWork & Heliseilerei GmbH (A&H) has obtained the exclusive EASA STC-Approval for an HEC-Y-Rope-System designed for the Bell 429 helicopter. We look forward to introducing this breakthrough at the upcoming EuropeanRotors event in Madrid, setting a new standard.

Complex PCDS are all means such as nets, baskets, platforms, other complex constructions. They do not comply with R (EU) 2016/425 and there are no EN standards.
These parts must be approved in accordance with EASA CS-27 or CS-29 with a so-called major change process by a Part 21 J design organisationand manufactured by an EASA Part 21 G production organisation.

The human external cargo (HEC) fixed rope system by AirWork & Heliseilerei GmbH (A&H) named HEC_6_B429, is used for human external cargo with up to 600 kg. The rope assembly is attached to the helicopter dual cargo hook system. The HEC equipment is compatible with the BELL429 dual cargo hook kit P/N 429-706-081 (supplier: BELL Textron).
