More information about the presentations:
Bernd Lang: Together we are going on a journey to identify essentials needed to set up best practice CRM trainings in the aeromedical environment of HEMS. We will also address common challenges and talk about possible solutions from practical experience. To serve the different needs of a diverse target group, from managers to crews, we will cover aspects on the organizational level as wells as practical CRM session elements with lessons learned and take home massages for the daily operation for everyone.
Jens van Ofen: The presentation shows insights of ADAC TCM initial and recurrent training. It is combined with Andreas Hjerts presentation on the new Air Operations Law.
Juan Antonio Sinisterra Aquilino: Highly complex temporary treatment to provide cardiac and respiratory support to patients whose lungs and heart are severely damaged and cannot develop their normal function, using an extracorporeal device. Applying the ECMO technique in air transport represents a challenge of both infrastructure and resources, as well as human resources, with the restrictions of an unfavorable environment. The procedure for these actions and training in incident management on board becomes a fundamental pillar for the implementation of this life support technique.
