How to get there
Whether you are travelling from another country or within Spain, Madrid and IFEMA MADRID is easily accessible by public transport, car, plane, or train.
By Public Transport
Metro and Cercanías RENFE
IFEMA MADRID is served by Madrid Metro Line 8: Nuevos Ministerios–Aeropuerto T4, which connects the fairgrounds with the terminals of the Madrid–Barajas Adolfo Suárez Airport (LEMD). The nearest metro station is Feria de Madrid (the exit leads to the south entrance of the IFEMA MADRID campus).
Cercanías RENFE has a direct connection to Metro Line 8 from the Nuevos Ministerios station.
Bus
A wide network of buses allows you to reach IFEMA MADRID from different points of the city:
Line 73: Diego de León–IFEMA MADRID
Line 112: Mar de Cristal–Barrio del Aeropuerto (Airport District)
Line 122: Avenida de América–IFEMA MADRID
Line 828: Universidad Autónoma (Autonomous University)–Alcobendas–IFEMA MADRID–Canillejas
Taxi
The IFEMA MADRID campus has taxi ranks at the following locations:
South Gate (main entrance to the fairgrounds)
North Gate (near the North Convention Centre)
East Gate (opposite the exit of Hall 6, next to Hall 14
Entrance to and/or exit from the fairgrounds incurs a taxi surcharge of 3 euro.
By Car
The following exits from the main access roads and ring roads of Madrid lead to IFEMA MADRID:
M11 (Exits 5 and 7)
M40 (Exits 5, 6, and 7)
A2 (Exit 7)
By Plane
Madrid–Barajas Adolfo Suárez Airport (LEMD) is located in the northeast of Madrid, in the Barajas district, 12 km from the center of Madrid.
Transferring from the airport to IFEMA MADRID
By taxi. All terminals have several areas with taxi ranks. Entrance to and/or exit from the fairgrounds incurs a taxi surcharge of 3 euro.
By metro. Line 8: Nuevos Ministerios–Aeropuerto T4 leaves the airport from two metro stations, Airport Terminals 1–2–3 and Airport Terminal 4.
By bus. The airport is served by EMT public bus lines and intercity buses that will take you to IFEMA MADRID.
By Cercanías Madrid. Trains leave the airport from a station on the -1 floor of Terminal 4 across from the metro station.
By Train
The Atocha railway station is a public transportation hub for AVE high-speed trains, Cercanías trains, longer distance trains, metro, and city buses.
Transferring from the station
By taxi. A taxi rank is located on the outskirts of the station.
By metro. A metro station serving Metro Line 1: Pinar de Chamartín–Valdecarros, is on the ground floor.
By bus. Several EMT public bus stops are available outside the station.
By Cercanías RENFE. Several Cercanías lines run from the ground floor of the station.
