Information on COVID-19 management

During the coronavirus pandemic, the entire world currently faces problems of unprecedented proportions relating to health, society and the economy. Many of the major aviation shows have already been postponed, numerous businesses are working under challenging conditions, and it is almost impossible to plan with any certainty. However, we are already looking into the future – a future that promises better times ahead. Because this crisis too will reach an end at some stage. And then we will once again quickly need face-to-face meetings, our marketplaces for new products and innovations, and the media’s flashlights. One of these outstanding marketplaces is EUROPEAN ROTORS, which will be taking place in Cologne from November 10 – 12, 2020. It is an excellent, premium business platform which represents the new highlight for the rotorcraft community, something that has been convincingly demonstrated by registrations to date, and the feedback from the helicopter industry.

Our industry – like the rest of the world – now must plan and prepare for how we can recover and rebound.

FAQs

EUROPEAN ROTORS is taking place as scheduled in Cologne from 10 to 12 November 2020. Health and safety of our exhibitors and visitors have always been our highest priority. It is our goal to take every measure necessary that you continue to feel safe and comfortable when being at EUROPEAN ROTORS.

The above-mentioned measures include appropriate hygiene, maintaining sufficient distance between people at all times, and strict guidelines for the processes carried out at entrances, in the halls and at the stands. Additionally we have decided to run the show with a limited number of visitors and have been offering date specific tickets for the visit of EUROPEAN ROTORS via our online ticket shop. Tickets will not be sold on site. Hall 8 of Koelnmesse is large and spacious which means there is enough space for all visitors and exhibitors to keep the mandatory minimum distance.

Even if normality has been and still is a foreign word, we want to allow us some optimism and are looking forward to meeting you in November. Until then the EUROPEAN ROTORS Team wants to stay a reliable partner and is happy to answer any questions you might have.

We are currently working on the implementation of the necessary measures to run the show, we will keep you updated as soon as the official requirements has been published and adjusted to our event. Once these requirements are in place we will include them in this document and inform all attendees about the details.

Of course, we are also always happy to provide you with help and advice so that you can plan and prepare your trade show participation in this unprecedented situation.

For exhibitors

There is no reason to wait any longer. Dear Exhibitors, please bear in mind that the earlier you register, the greater your choice in terms of the position of your stand will be. If you register, your registration can be cancelled free of charge until we receive the written confirmation of the stand proposal by you.
Furthermore please also have a look at our terms and conditions: the paragraph “8. Cancellation, Postponement / Relocation and change in the length of the event" assures you, that if postponement or relocation or other such changes will become a component of the contract due to force majeure, they are notified to the exhibitor. In this scenario, the exhibitor has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the notification of this change. In these instances, the exhibitor is allowed to claim any part or full reimbursement.

SAFE ATTENDANCE
VISITOR GUIDELINES
DISINFECTION AND CLEANING INTERVALS
Disinfection dispensers are placed at all essential areas. Regularly touched surfaces will be cleaned more often than usual.
VISITORS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A FACE MASK
All visitors must wear mouth and nose protection on the show ground. Exception: In seating areas (e. g. at exhibition stands or at places providing food) you are allowed to take it off, if the minimum distance of 1.5 metres is ensured. For those who do not have their own masks, we will provide mouth and nose protection at the Entrance North sponsored by Airbus.
OPTIMISED VENTILATION
Koelnmesse is equipped with modern ventilation systems that allow for separate exhaust air and outgoing exhaust air control.
CLEANING AND HYGIENE IN SANITARY FACILITIES
The sanitary facilities at Koelnmesse will be cleaned at frequent intervals. The minimum distance for hand washing and disinfection facilities is ensured.
CONTACT-FREE PATHS AT KOELNMESSE
All door systems at Koelnmesse except fire doors remain permanently open to reduce contact with surfaces.
SOCIAL DISTANCING
We kindly ask all visitors and exhibitors to ensure the minimum distance of 1.5 metres. Our information flyer will help to follow all regulations.
TICKETING
All visitors have to buy their tickets online in our visitor shop. This helps us to control and monitor the number of visitors per day to ensure that the minimum distance of 1.5 metres can always be maintained at the show. Please note: there will be no cash desk available for on-site ticket sale!
EXPANSION OF THE HALL WAYS
The EUROPEAN ROTORS Team extended the floor space for their event. This guarantees that visitors‘ and exhibitors‘ can keep the necessary safety distance.
CONFERENCE REGULATIONS
For the protection of all participants we will adjust the seating and the number of seats. We will not offer standing room within the conference areas and specify separate entrances and exits where necessary. Please check the dedicated conference slot in the programme on our website about detailed regulations as for some sessions dedicated seats have to be assigned to each person.
FULL REGISTRATION OF ALL PARTICIPANTS
All participants of EUROPEAN ROTORS have already registered in advance via online ticket purchase or via their exhibitor pass. This is to ensure that the EUROPEAN ROTORS Team can quickly identify contact persons in the case of a Corona infection.
